I am Professor of the Department of Sociological Theory (Sociology V) of the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology of the Complutense University of Madrid. Among my works I would highlight the books “Sociology of Scientific Knowledge” (1999, with Juan Manuel Iranzo) and “Sociology of Science and Technology” (1995, with Juan Manuel Iranzo, Teresa González de la Fe, Cristóbal Torres and Alberto Cotillo-Pereira), and the translation of “Knowledge and Social Imaginary” by David Bloor (1998, with Emmánuel Lizcano).

At present, the research topics on which I work continue to be related to the social studies of science and technology, with special attention to the field of information and communication/computing technologies (ICTs).

En la actualidad, los temas de investigación en los que trabajo siguen estando relacionados con los estudios sociales de la ciencia y la tecnología, con especial atención al ámbito de las tecnologías de información y comunicación/computación (TICs).
