Pau Orihuela

Recently graduated at University of Granada, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and I am currently researching at the IPP-CSIC thanks to a JAE Intro grant. Since I studied two years of a bachelor’s degree in Genetics at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, I have developed a deep interest in Sociology of Health and, particularly, in Sociology of Science and Technology. In fact, my current research is focused on unravelling the “genetic imaginary” around Direct-to-Consumer Genetics Tests in Spain. Besides STS studies, other areas of my interest are Political Sociology, Social Movements and Electoral Analysis.
